This was a prep class for the PMI-Agile Test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the class, one of the exercises was to build a freestanding structure using only spaghetti, Marshmallows, string and some blue tape. My team&#8217;s end product appears below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.keenertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/agile_spaghetti.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-710\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.keenertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/agile_spaghetti.jpg 500w, https:\/\/staging.keenertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/agile_spaghetti-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s Brian Watson, the instructor, on the left side of the picture admiring our structure, which was the first one in the class to achieve any significant height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rules for the exercise were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build the tallest freestanding structure possible.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0&#8211; No hands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The marshmallow MUST be on top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may break. cut or rip the tape, twine and spaghetti.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0&#8211; Use as much or as little as you want<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Timebox = 18 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The exercise was great fun. My team&#8217;s structure came in second place in height, due to the droopage factor.
